About Me
I'm a Data Scientist at Gemini Sports AI, specialized in sports analytics.
Responsible for the development of predictive models and advanced metrics used by professional teams for recruitment, tactical preparation, and performance evaluation. My work integrates advanced modeling, scalable data engineering, and applied research. I collaborate closely with scouts, analysts, and sporting directors to turn analytical outputs into practical, football-driven decisions.
I'm also pursuing my M.Sc. in Computer Science (AI/ML) at the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG), where I completed my B.Sc. in Computational Mathematics. My master's research focuses on multifaceted learning for characterizing playing style in football at the Sports Analytics Lab (SALab).

GraphEIV: A Framework for Estimating the Expected Immediate Value in Basketball Using Graph Neural Networks
ECML PKDD MLSA 2024
Abstract: This paper presents GraphEIV, a framework that integrates tracking and event data through multi-agent graph representations to estimate possession value dynamics. Using graph convolutions to model spatiotemporal interactions, the approach demonstrates strong interpretability and improved value assignment for recruitment, tactical analysis, and player evaluation.
